Different wood pellet machines have different operational methods, if we operate pellet machines improper, it is dangerous for the operators as well as to the machines, so here I want to tell you the instruction of small wood pellet machines to refer to.
- Check the screw of all the small wood pellet machines parts be fastened enough before operating the machine for the first time.
- Before opening the small wood pellet machines, loosen the two regulating screws on the each side of the roller, then start the electric motor, to survey if the drive is the same as that of the identifying.
- New dies running-in. Each small wood pellet machine should go through the procedure of running-in. The correct way is to mix five kg raw materials and one kilogram silver sand together, then add into one kilogram used oil to make them mixed uniform enough. Start small pellet machine, feed in raw materials uniformly, to adjust roller and screw bolt with the wrench until the finished pellets are produced. Pay attention that the gap shouldn’t be too small, or it will destroy the roller and die. Keep the machine working about 1 hour then put the normal raw materials into it.
- If the machine can’t work normally, you should loose the screw bolt of the rollers. After one day working of the small pellet machines, operator should put oil into the chamber to fill in the holes of the flat dies to prevent blocking.
- For the raw materials, the moisture content must between 14% and 18%. Too high or too low will affect the output and quality of final pellets.
- Stop feeding raw materials before the small pellet machine is stopped. And after the material is processed in the bin, add the oily material into the holes of dies to keep it smooth, in case the phenomenon of blockage will occur in the next use.
- In the normal situation, the screw of roller should be cleaned every five days by gasoline or diesel oil, at the same time, pour high speed lubricating oil and maintain the wheel gear once half a year.
- The choice of the hole depth and diameter, also called compression ratio, is important too, if the hole is deep and with small compression ratio, the pellets yield is high, but the hardness is low, otherwise, the production is low and the hardness is high. Therefore, customers should choose different flat dies according to your real situation, if necessary, you can offer raw materials, we can do the free test.
- Adjust the length of pellets by adjusting the height of the cutter located next to the outlet.
